What is it?

Jam Buster is a traffic puzzle where one smart move clears the jam. On a small town map the road between homes and offices is stuck in red; place the piece you are given on the right tile to cut the average commute, and the red turns green from that tile outward as the queued cars pour through.

Short levels unlock in order. You learn one idea at a time (joining a broken road, dragging a detour, swapping a signal for a roundabout, a one-way street that carries twice the traffic, a four-lane bridge, closing an unused side street) and then mix them as the levels go on. The closer your commute gets to the goal, the more stars you earn, and Undo and Reset let you try again as often as you like.

Scoring uses the same traffic model as SimWorld's cities (road capacity plus signal and roundabout delays). There is nothing to install and no sign-in: it starts right away on a phone held upright, and your progress is saved on this device. If you enjoy the roundabouts and one-way streets, try building a whole city in SimWorld next.

How to play

  1. Pick a piece at the bottom (road, roundabout, one-way, four-lane or road block) and tap a tile. Drag to draw several road tiles at once.
  2. The average commute and the number of jammed tiles update as soon as you place a piece. Red turning green means that road is flowing.
  3. The closer you get to the goal (★3), the more stars you earn. Use Undo or Reset to try as many times as you like.
  4. Short levels unlock in order: learn one piece at a time, then mix them as you go. Progress is saved on this device.

Good to know

  • Signals make cars wait. At junctions with three or more arms, a roundabout is often faster.
  • A one-way street carries twice the traffic in one direction; set it the wrong way and the jam gets worse, so watch where the cars are heading.
  • An unused side street can force a signal. Close it with a road block and the junction becomes a plain road.
